The on-site evening event for Omnitracs is their most anticipated night, closing out a four-day conference with their attendees. It’s a chance to celebrate the week while looking forward to the next year. Right On Pointe was asked to help hire Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for this private event in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole. Using our connections with the band’s agency, our team quickly secured the group. We then immediately partnered with a Dallas based décor company and created a theme, Glam Rock, completely centered around Joan Jett. 

 

The Right On Pointe team handled all logistics for the band, working closely with their manager to ensure every detail on the rider to the performance contract was taken care. Working with such a high level artist, it must be reviewed and handled with extreme care and focus. Our work consisted of numerous meetings with our production partner on stage set, AV and rehearsals, as well as handling all transportation, lodging, and catering needs agreed upon by the band and Onmitracs. We also planned a private and intimate meet and greet with Joan Jett for Omnitracs VIP’s, including executives and top customers. Our team took every measure to create a project where no detail was missed, including any and all  requests Joan Jett had on-site. 

 

The theme, Glam Rock, was planned out to guarantee the persona of Joan Jett was felt through the entire night. As guests entered the event, they were greeted by two freestyle aerialists dressed like Joan Jett under a dramatic vintage fabric draping. As guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails, the sparkle from the table linens bounced off 10-foot vintage posters of Joan Jett herself. Every bar had a custom painted backdrop and the lounge areas were designed with a dark, crushed velvet, rocker vibe. And when Joan Jett took the stage, the attendees sang along to every song the band played, while dancing and enjoying the moment of watching pure greatness mere feet away from them.
